Dec.26, 2007 China's tax rebate on seamless pipe totally removed
China government has reduced the tax rebate on seamless pipe from 13 percent to 5 percent in July, now it is said that the rebate was totally removed. Rising raw material costs and exchange rate are the main reasons for the price up. Now the offers of seamless pipe begin to be active to Taiwan. Traders indicated that the price has risen by around US$100-150/ton.
